In a home visit, please be sure I will have a sturdy chair away from a heat source. Soft cushioned sofas and chairs make it difficult to have a child sit with me comfortably.
If there are any pets in the home, it is a good idea to have them secured in a different area of your home during the visit.
In an event in a larger space for more children, again, a sturdy chair away from a heat source will be needed. If I’m to give the children a gift at the end of our visit, such as a small toy or candy, you will need to provide enough of the item for each child to receive one.
